This site is run by Markondo Studio, part of Markondo. For anything about your personal data, email hello@markondo.com.
When you contact us
If you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address, project details (if you give them) and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to discuss the project you asked about.
The form is delivered to our team by email, using Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES). We also send you one confirmation email. We keep your message in our mailbox for as long as we are in conversation with you, or working together, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Our servers keep short technical logs for up to 30 days to catch errors and abuse.
We process this data to answer your request and take the steps you asked for before any agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and in our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
When you browse the site
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not track you across websites. It records only aggregate figures such as page views, referring sites, country and device type. Plausible is hosted in the EU.
The site is served by Amazon Web Services (CloudFront and S3). Like any web host, it has to process your IP address to deliver the pages to you. We do not keep access logs.
Fonts are served from our own site, so no font provider receives your visit.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. The only providers that handle it on our behalf are Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery) and Plausible (analytics, without personal data). If you ask us to, we may introduce you to brokers in the Markondo network, and we will tell you before we share your details.
Amazon Web Services may process data in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it or delete it;
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to our use of it.
Email hello@markondo.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
